A church is a living thing because it is composed of living things. That means it will have a life-cycle moving from birth, to adulthood, and eventually death. Just like all living things do. Each of these phases is distinct by what is emphasized in each and what is not. Rev. Dr. George Bullard did some important work clearly articulating the lifecycle of a church. In the two videos below, we explore how the concept of a church life cycle can help you understand the phase your church is in today. Also, you will be reminded that as Christians we know that death is not the end, but that there is a hope we all share in.
So prepare to be challenged, informed, and inspired as we explore the lifecycle of a church.
